I am a peace and conflict researcher, photographer, and storyteller focused on the intersections of global conflict, cultural resilience, and climate change.

Having grown up between the mountains and ocean in the Pacific Northwest and traveled across 50+ countries, I’m especially drawn to the relationship between land and identity. Exploring Earth’s high and hidden places—from the Andes to the Himalayas—and connecting with the people who call those places home there continues to shape how I see the world.

Beyond my solo travels, I hold an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and work in conflict and peace research alongside my photography. For me, storytelling is a way to give complex global issues a human face—and to balance the urgency of today’s challenges with the beauty and strength found out there.

My work bridges on-the-ground experience in some of the world’s most remote environments with global political insight, highlighting resilience, connection, and stories that honor both people and the planet.
